Privacy notice

Last updated 17 September 2026

This notice explains how Truestar Productions Limited ("we") handles personal data in connection with this website, as required by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The short version: the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, has no forms, and the only personal data we receive is what you choose to email us.

2. What we process, why, and on what basis

DataPurposeLegal basisRetention
Server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type, referring pageKeeping the site secure and available, diagnosing faultsLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): security and integrity of the service14 days, then deleted automatically

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, social plug-ins or contact forms, and we do not profile visitors or make automated decisions about them.

3. Video players

Google Pixel films are served from our own server. HP films are hosted on YouTube. They only load after you click a film and confirm that you want to load the player; until then no request is sent to Google. When you load a player, your browser connects to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) through its privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google's own privacy policy applies to what it collects. Your choice to load players is remembered on your device for one year (see the cookie notice).

4. Hosting and international transfers

The website is hosted on a server operated for us by IONOS SE in Karlsruhe, Germany. The European Economic Area is covered by the UK's adequacy regulations, so no additional transfer safeguards are required. If you load a YouTube player, Google may transfer data outside the UK under its own safeguards.

5. Who else sees the data

Only the people at Truestar who need to answer you, and our hosting provider as processor. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability where applicable. Write to truestarltd@me.com; we answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113), although we would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.

7. Changes

We will update this notice if the site starts doing something new with personal data. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
